Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a relatively new, fast and non-invasive procedure used to resurface the skin by gently removing the top layer of cells. This is a mechanical method of peel, which uses special equipment – with the help of extremely rapid rotating polishing heads with the diamond coating are removed the upper skin layers. This technique peels off and gently resurfaces the skin, stimulating its renewal. It is used most often on the face and the neck, but it can be done on any part of the body.
The method is performed in an uneven, rough and oily skin, in the treatment of superficial scars and acne scars. It gives excellent results for cleaning blackheads and shrinks enlarged pores. Microdermabrasion smooths fine wrinkles around the eyes and the mouth and improves sun damaged skin. The technique is applied to lighten the skin and to remove pigment spots on the face and the hands. It is beneficial for improving skin tone and treatment of stretch marks.
Increases blood flow to the dermis and epidermal layer, thereby stimulating the regeneration of the skin. Increases the productivity of the connective tissue and the formation of more collagen and elastin fibers. Allows dry skin to absorb more moisture, thus hydrates it.
The procedure is not painful, and many patients define it as relaxing. Usually, there is no need for recovery time. Immediately after treatment, the skin is not red and irritated, on the contrary – visibly it is radiant and refreshed. To achieve the desired results, you need a series of treatments, the number, and the intensity depending on skin type.
